In 2022, ONE Foundation embarked on their program, Water for Life. Water for Life funds the development of wells for The Turkana peoples in Northwest Kenya. Each well is $12,000 and saves more than 1,000 lives for each village. There are more than 350 villages and Water For Life continues to be an ongoing effort.
Towards the end of 2022, ONE Foundation learned about the incredible hunger and food shortage in the same region. With partners, donors, and friends, they quickly mobilized an immediate, emergency response to provide months of food to more than 350 villages in the Turkana region. It is estimated that more than 100,000 lives will benefit from the food deliveries.
