May 12th 2020 – InterVol was proud to host its first Virtual 5K during the Covid quarantine. Runners and Walkers were able to participate anytime between May 7 through Sunday, May 10, 2020 in this virtual event. In total 96 runners and walkers joined together from eight states, in-cluding New York, California, Alabama, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan and South Carolina.Registration for the virtual event was $25, that included an InterVol neck gaiter that can be worn when exercising.
The ONE Foundation was happy to match the funds raised, bringing the total to $9,658.26. Proceeds from the Virtual 5K will continue to support InterVol’s mission to improve healthcare worldwide.
