March 11, 2022 (Boston, MA) – Director of The ONE Foundation, Lena Palmier, travelled to InterVol headquarters this past week to assist in the packaging and shipping of more than 150 palettes and 80,000 pounds of critical medical supplies, clothing, and blankets for Ukrainian refugees. She was joined by Rosemarie McElwee, Marketing Director, and Executive Director of InterVol, Nicole Smith. The ONE Foundation and InterVol have been collaborating for more than a two decades to provide humanitarian aid to keep individuals and communities around the world protected, assisted, and safe.
“It was humbling and also invigorating to work side by side with so many volunteers as we organized the materials to ship to neighboring Poland’s refugee locations,” commented Lena Palmier. “ONE Foundation’s mission is to assist individuals in local and global communities to attain a better quality of life. I enjoyed the time with so many Ukrainian Americans who worked tirelessly to prepare more than 150 palettes.”
