ONE Foundation is honored to support Ecole l’Erudit de Leogane, and their mission to bring water and a sustainable well system to their new school and community.   Based in Haiti, the school’s mission is to provide a nourishing learning environment for children, K-12.  In just a few years, the school’s enrollments have grown from 20 students to over 120 students in 2021.  The school’s Founder has begun the designs for a well and water filtration system to provide water to the children and community with a sustainable model for future years.

ONE Foundation has a long-time commitment to Haiti.  Over the past 10 years, ONE Foundation has donated more than $200,000 to provide salt and sustainable salt operations to Haiti over the past 10 years.  In partnership with the Haitian Ministry of Public Health and the Population (MSPP) and the University of Notre Dame Haiti Program developed a fortified salt production plant in Delmas, Haiti. The facility provides for the production of clean, iodized salt for the Haitian population by providing the nation’s first brine-wash facility. This equipment allows for local Haitian salt to be cleaned to food- grade quality prior to being fortified and packaged for consumption by the Haitian people.  For more information, https://theonefoundation.com/salt_haiti/
